Cellular Shades FAQ

What is a cellular blind?

Cellular shades are a unique style of window treatment used to block or filter light and add insulation to windows to help save energy and reduce costs. Each cell is constructed with honeycomb-shaped pockets built to trap air at your window. Choose between a single or double cell variation, depending on how much insulation you'd like to add. These unique shades are also highly customizable, available with multiple lift options, colors, and light-blocking materials.

What is the difference between honeycomb and cellular shades?

Honeycomb blinds and cellular shades are two names for the exact same product. The honeycomb name is just a reference to the shape of the individual air-pockets in each cell. Call them whatever you want, they'll still add insulation and style to your windows.

How much do cellular shades or honeycomb blinds cost?

Blindsgalore cellular shades are among our most economical style of window treatments. Plus, think of how much you'll save on your energy bill! As with all of our products, final price depends on the size of your shade and the features you've decided to include.

customer reviews for cellular honeycomb

5 stars

"Truly Dark"

By Prubinster from North Carolina

These shades are great black-out shades. I added the side channels to cover the light that leaks out of the sides and not only do these channels take care of this leakage, but they also add a sleak, clean look tto the shades. I last ordered Levelor's black-out cellular shades and found them to be very heavy and too thick. The Bali shades seem to be of a slightly higher quality.
